With my YouTube channel in mind, this business card was created to promote the videos and gain a separate way for viewer traction.
Taking colors from YouTube’s layout as well as the share button that most people would recognize. The branding of YouTube itself would be instantly seen, grasping some viewers faster. Using the colors and symbols not only as a call to action, but as a lead to the eye to flip over the card no mater what side the viewer was facing.
The gray bar along with the share button makes a complete band around the card and stands out strongly over the white back ground. Adding for future underlining or contrast if any other limes of text were to be added/subtracted.
I had created a card before with very little impact. It was boring, small, and the type absolutely unreadable. This is why there was two sides created. One about the channel and the other with more specific information of where this product leads. The link needed its own space, one that would stand out among the rest of the group of icons. Wanting it biggest out of all the text to create it’s own top priority hierarchy.
